A mother’s testimony that brings courage.
With the right support, she was able to save her daughter.
"Being a parent comes with responsibilities. It's difficult. You have to stay the course, not believe just anyone or anything." "Hello, my name is Caroline, and I am the mother of a 13-year-old girl who thought she was trans about a year and a half ago. So, to give a bit of context, I live in the south of France, but I moved to the United States over 20 years ago. That's where my daughter was born, in San Francisco, and about two and a half years ago, my husband and I decided to move back to France. My daughter started 6th grade, so for her, it was a bit of a pivotal time because she was entering 6th grade, changing countries, and also entering puberty. It was the time when she had her first period, and it was a very difficult time for her, and a bit for us as well, because all these changes were happening at once."
