The PERFECT Storm Behind Social Media's Impact on Children - Kristopher Kaliebe, MD
20 november 2024 - YouTube Genspect
Kris Kaliebe is a psychiatrist and educator who explores how social media and cultural pressures are impacting young people’s mental health. In this talk, he explains the “perfect storm” created by these influences, leading to more young people struggling with challenges like gender distress.
Kris questions the common approach of quick affirmation and instead calls for careful, evidence-based support to help young people thrive in the long term. He focuses on the bigger picture and how we can better support children in today’s world.
